PBMT Laser Therapy Class 4

Laser therapy is a quick, painless and non invasive treatment which has gained popularity recently as it's benefits have become increasingly obvious.

The therapy can be used along with or instead of medications to manage inflammation, pain and wound healing. Laser therapy is particularly useful for pets with limited medical treatment options such as pets who are unable to take medication for various reasons.

What does it treat?

Chronic Arthritis

Muscle, tendon & ligament injuries

Skin and ear problems

Wound healing

Burns

Abscesses

Asthma

Sinusitis

Pancreatitis

Kidney & Urinary problems

Older pets with compromised organ function

& many many more

How does it work?

Laser therapy is a treatment method in which light is absorbed by the tissues to stimulate regeneration and return them to maximum function. Laser helps damaged cells to recover faster and does not impact healthy cells.

How is it done?

Treatments take place during a standard consultation. The treatment takes around 5-15 minutes depending on the condition. Laser is a pain free therapy so is well tolerated by most pets and the pet can relax on the table whilst being reassured by it's owner. The pet will often experience a warmth that is quite soothing. You and your pet will need to wear groovy laser safe eye protection during the treatment.

A treatment plan will be devised specially for your pet which may consist of a course of several treatments.
